This hop is about books we are lucky to have read, or that have to do with being lucky. I think the Harry Potter series about covers that! Harry Potter is one of my all time favorite series, because not only are they amazingly creative, but so well written. I truly admire JK Rowlings talent and perseverance. While I cannot say she’s inspired my writing style, because she hasn’t, she has inspired me as a writer, while her books have inspired me as a human being. Those are the best books, the one where there is a human take-away to the story, even when the story is as far out is witches, wizards and muggles. JK is a truly creative individual, and I don’t know that all writers can say that. I’m not even sure I can say that. She wove such an intricate tale, with so many details from the magical world she created to the inspiring journey of the characters, that there is no doubt she is creative. Beyond that, I mean, how lucky is Harry Potter? The only survivor of Voldemort (FYI <—comes up in spell check– seriously!?)? I’d say pretty lucky. I’m glad I got a chance to read these novels and experience JK’s talent. As an adult I barely have time to read, and I doubt I could commit to such a large series, but hey, it did only take me 3 hours to read the thickest one!
