Sales Saturday–Err…Sunday

deadly Sins

Sales Saturday quickly became Sales Sunday this week, and you know what? I’m going to keep it simple, sometimes sales is just nose to the grindstone hard work. That’s why Sales Saturday became Sales Sunday and why this post is going to be short and sweet. I want to be reilable for my readers, but right now all I want to do is write. I have plenty of great posts stewing around in my brain that I would like to share with you, but I’ve been busy writing–a lot. Since I first mentioned that I had a new WIP about two weeks ago, I’ve written 20,000 words of that novel. It’s the most obsessed with a novel that I have been since I wrote Walking in the Shadows. No, I am not going to do all kinds of sneak peeks into this one. I’m not even going to let you in on what it’s about. That’s how excited I am. This novel is dark, and beautiful (in my mind). I will let you in on the title…it’s the title of the first novel I wrote after my own darkness where I didn’t write: Deadly Sins. That first novel was awful and the name didn’t fit…but this one…I am very hopeful that you will all love it. So, one of the most important things about sales is hard work. As an author that means writing until your fingers are numb, your mind is tired and even though you want to continue your body just won’t let you. I’ve also been busy snapping shots with my early Christmas present from my amazing husband…a Nikon D3100. Yes, I have a real DSLR now!!! This shot I took reminded me of the darkness of Deadly Sins, and it’s blurred background reminds me of what I am giving you…a very blurry picture of what I am writing.

What’s inspiring me today? 10 years… check out their music and you can gain a picture of what I am writing…

Sales=hard work, but writing really isn’t hard work for me. It’s a matter of ripping a part of me out and typing it out in letters. Read my soul. Read my heart…hollow me out, tear out my soul…I am the deadly sins, what you fear, what you wish for…everything that was a gift become a curse.
