Do you see that??

Do you see that countdown timer over on the right hand side? It says there is only 15 days left until Walking in the Shadows is available. It also means there’s only 18 days left until the release signing in Mystic, CT at Bank Square Books. I’m having a great time working with Megan at Reading Away the Days for the blog tour, and I am blessed to have met the wonderful Kelsy at Bank Square Books. She’s been great and enthusiastic about working with me on my first ever release signing. Kelsy and I discussed doing a raffle that is free to the public at the book store, and she thought it was a great idea! I love it when a plan comes together–so here is the flyer I did up for the event.

Also, I just finished emailing The Day, The Courant, and the Norwich Bulletin with the press release and event information! I can’t wait to see this in print in the paper. I’ve already heard back from the Norwich Bulletin and not only will the press release be there, but also my big SMILING face!

Windham County, CT (October 31, 2012) – NFA alumni, Cassandra Giovanni, is pleased to announce the release of her second published novel, Walking in the Shadows, on Halloween 2012. In May 2012 she published her first novel, In Between Seasons, which demonstrated her unique writing style and approach to the genre of post-apocalyptic fiction. Her newest creation is a suspense romance novel that puts a new twist on the obsession with vampires in literature and explores some of the darkest parts of human nature, while still showing that there is always hope—if we only choose to believe in ourselves. When Abigail Martin’s parents become the first victims of a serial killer obsessed with the vampire saga, Crimson Reign, she does the only thing that she thinks will save her from her parent’s fate–she becomes some one else. As Vera MacIntrye, she falls in love with the very handsome Tad Knightley only to find that their relationship is impossible. She tries to step further from her dark past only to find that when you run from your past it’s bound to be a part of your future. Vera soon finds that her lies that were meant to protect her have propelled her into a danger that she can’t escape. A forbidden love, a life in ruins and a murderer with an agenda will drag more than just Vera down into the abyss.

A release signing will be held at Bank Square Books (53 West Main Street, Mystic, CT) on November 3rd, 2012 from 1PM to 3PM to celebrate the new novel. Cassandra will be available to sign both novels and other book merchandise such as bookmarks, key chains and necklaces will be available.
